Eva Klinglmayr

Since 2024, Eva Klinglmayr supports the LBI-NVPM as Lab Manager, where she focuses on extracellular vesicles as Nanovesicular Drug Shuttles. In this role, she is responsible for maintaining laboratory operations and infrastructure, ensuring efficient workflows, and supporting research activities across the institute. Through her additional part-time position at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, she also contributes to strengthening the connection between the host institution and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute.

Eva holds a PhD in Genetics and has more than 15 years of experience supporting research at the University of Salzburg, as well as in laboratory management. With a strong background in molecular biology and biotechnology, she has contributed to projects in the fields of structural biology, allergy, and epigenetics, including a Citizen Science project. In 2019, she entered the field of extracellular vesicle research as part of the EV-TT Program for EV Theralytic Technologies and the follow-up CONSONANT project, where she was extensively involved in the development of EV isolation processes from food sources and establishing EV characterization methods.
