Vesna Stanojlović is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the LBI-NVPM, where her research focuses on extracellular vesicles, with particular emphasis on surface engineering strategies, physicochemical characterization, and organic synthesis. Her work involves the application of advanced analytical methodologies to support and advance ongoing research activities within the institute. She obtained her doctoral degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Salzburg, with a specialization in Peptide Chemistry. Her doctoral research focused on developing chemical methods to stabilize different peptide structures enabling their use as lead compounds to produce functional molecules with the ability to inhibit or mimic the activity of medicinally relevant target proteins.

Since November 2021, she has been a postdoctoral researcher in the Meisner-Kober group, where she contributes extensive expertise in organic and peptide chemistry, including synthesis and quality control.
