Florien Jenner
Florien Jenner is an Adjunct Principal Investigator at the LBI-NVPM, where she collaborates in particular with the Native Nanovesicular Therapeutics Research Program Line to evaluate the therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stromal and tenocyte-derived extracellular vesicles for tendon repair in veterinary applications.
She is Professor of Equine Surgery and Head of the Centre for Equine Health and Research at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, where she also leads the VETERM regenerative medicine laboratory. A dual board-certified specialist (ACVS/ECVS), she bridges the gap between clinical orthopaedics and translational musculoskeletal research. Her work investigates the pathobiology of cartilage and tendon injuries, specifically linking molecular mechanisms to regenerative therapies.
