Watch Now on YouTube: EV-Tech Series Talk with Melanie Schürz
The latest EV-Tech Series talk—organized by SNEV (Students Network for Extracellular Vesicles)—is now available to watch on YouTube.
In this session, Dr. Melanie Schürz from the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Nanovesicular Precision Medicine (LBI-NVPM) at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg presents EVAnalyzer, an open-source tool designed for the automated quantification of extracellular vesicles (EVs) from imaging data. As the EV field continues to expand, robust and reliable methods for characterization and analysis are more important than ever.
The talk covers practical workflows including single-vesicle capture, immunolabelling, staining validation, and quantitative analysis. It also highlights how EVAnalyzer can be applied to study EV uptake at both the single-cell and single-particle level across a range of sample types, including in vitro, ex vivo, histological, and serum samples.
