Gordon Research Conference on Extracellular Vesicles 2026
We are pleased to announce the 2026 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Extracellular Vesicles, entitled “Modes and Mechanisms of Action of Extracellular Vesicles”, taking place August 9–14, 2026, at the Rey Don Jaime Grand Hotel in Castelldefels, Spain.
This premier international conference will bring together leading investigators, clinicians, translational scientists, and emerging researchers to discuss the latest advances in extracellular vesicle (EV) biology and their applications in health and disease. Consistent with the unique Gordon Conference format, the meeting will emphasize cutting-edge and unpublished research, extensive discussion periods, and opportunities for scientific exchange in an interactive and collegial environment.
The conference will focus on understanding the fundamental mechanisms governing EV biology and their roles in physiological and pathological processes. Sessions will explore emerging insights into EV-mediated communication, biomarker development, therapeutic applications, manufacturing and bioprocessing strategies, regulatory considerations, and clinical translation.
The meeting offers a unique opportunity to connect basic mechanistic discoveries with translational and clinical perspectives, fostering collaborations across academia, industry, and healthcare. In addition to invited presentations, poster sessions and informal networking activities will provide ample opportunities for discussion and the development of new scientific partnerships.
Researchers interested in extracellular vesicle biology, biomarker discovery, therapeutics, and translational applications are encouraged to apply early, as Gordon Research Conferences frequently reach capacity before the application deadline (July 12, 2026). For additional information, program updates, and registration details, please visit the Gordon Research Conferences website here.
A Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on Extracellular Vesicles for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers offering an outstanding forum for early-career scientists to present their work and engage with peers and mentors (application deadline July 11, 2026). We look forward to welcoming the extracellular vesicle research community to Castelldefels, Spain, for a stimulating and impactful scientific meeting.
